SARASOTA, FLORIDA (941) 955-7060

Q: Why should I spend any money to have a concierge doctor?
A: Concierge Private Medicine includes the following:
  • 24/7 direct access to Dr. Cooper
  • Experience and time dedicated to your care by Dr. Cooper personally, rather than a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
  • Limited number of patients allows Dr. Cooper to spend as much time with you as needed
Q: How much does the annual plan cost?
A: There are different pricing plans based on age group, complexity of care and nursing home care

Q: Does the annual fee include family members?
A: No, but spouses and additional family members receive a joint discount

Q: Any co-pays for the cardiac exams?
A: No, all exams described are included in the annual fee

Q: Do I still need medical insurance if I join your practice?
A: Yes. You should have health insurance for services not performed by Dr. Cooper such as: hospital bills, medications, consultations with specialists, blood laboratory tests, radiology services, etc.

Q: Do you provide house calls?
A: Yes. House calls are available based on the level of service selected.

Q: I don't like to wait in a doctor's office, how long is your typical wait time?
A: Because of our concierge practice and the limited number of patients we follow, our friendly office staff can always find the perfect appointment to fit your schedule. Dr. Cooper will always give you the time you need to evaluate your problems.

Q: Will Medicare or my insurance reimburse me for your annual fees?
A: Medicare or your secondary insurance will not reimburse you. If you are not a Medicare patient and have a health savings plan, it may cover certain fees.

Q: I am still undecided, could I meet Dr. Cooper?
A: Yes, you can contact us using our Prospective Patient Form, by email at, or by phone at (941) 955-7060. Our staff will call you to schedule a no-obligation visit to our office and you will personally meet and talk to Dr. Cooper.
